Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze data across planning, assortment, purchase order execution, inventory flow, fulfillment, and store execution
Connect upstream decisions with downstream outcomes
Identify performance drivers and opportunities
Develop trusted metrics and data assets by reconciling sources, validating business logic, and improving data quality
Apply exploratory analysis, statistical methods, and forecasting to complex merchandising questions
Translate findings into visualizations and recommendations
Own analytical work from problem definition through delivery
Partner with Merchandising, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to develop and implement scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field; OR
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; OR
4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
Strong SQL skills
Proficiency in Python or R
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Experience with exploratory analysis, statistical methods, forecasting, and root-cause analysis
Strong understanding of data quality, profiling, validation, and metric development
Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights
Strong communication and data storytelling skills
Experience in merchandising, retail, inventory, or supply chain analytics is preferred
