About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define product metrics, measurement frameworks and analytical roadmaps
- Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, identify root causes and provide actionable recommendations
- Use quantitative analysis to understand customer behaviour, product performance and business results
- Partner with product leaders, designers and engineering managers to evaluate opportunities and prioritize initiatives
- Conduct analytical deep dives to identify business problems, opportunities and required actions
- Collect, process and analyse data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, R and other analytical/statistical tools
- Design, execute and analyse A/B tests and promote analytical rigor and experimentation culture
- Develop analytical methodologies and scalable approaches for complex product and business problems
- Communicate insights through business reviews, presentations and executive discussions
- Represent Product Analytics in stakeholder meetings and business reviews
- Leverage AI and Generative AI tools to automate workflows and improve analytical productivity
- Use analytics to drive measurable business impact
- Work with product, engineering and business leadership teams to transform product and business data into actionable insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience working in a high-growth analytics, product analytics or related data-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including independently querying, transforming and analysing complex datasets
- Good understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation and common pitfalls in data interpretation
- Experience in product analytics and working with product development teams preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex insights to technical, business and executive stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decisions through data and insights
- Minimum qualification alternatives: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' relevant experience; master's degree; or 4 years' relevant experience
