About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains
- Ensure data quality and fitness for purpose
- Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using Python
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights
- Create data visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Mentor junior team members on modeling techniques and best practices
- Support scalability and sustainability of deployed models in production environments
- Contribute to enterprise-scale machine learning systems processing product attributes for accurate taxation across sales channels
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on scalable AI applications and model performance improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field; OR
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 year's experience in an analytics related field; OR
- 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field
- Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytical modeling techniques
- Proficiency in Python programming, SQL, and data engineering practices
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and best practices
- Expertise in data quality assessment, data source identification, and data strategy implementation
- Ability to develop, test, validate, and deploy scalable analytical models in production environments
- Understanding of business domains and ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally
