About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions supporting strategic business objectives
- Source and validate data
- Design predictive models
- Ensure scalable model implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Architect anomaly detection using time-series forecasting, clustering, or statistical limits
- Automate root cause analysis using causal inference agents
- Build prescriptive engines recommending interventions such as re-routing and incentives
- Forecast operational states and simulate proposed solution impacts
- Write production-grade Python, SQL, and PySpark for massive distributed datasets
- Advise leadership on modeling trade-offs and define the technical roadmap
- Identify key signals, analyze causal factors, and recommend solutions for last-mile delivery operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field; or Master’s degree in one of these fields and 1 year’s experience; or 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field
- Extensive experience in data science
- Advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Experience with model assessment, validation, and deployment
- Expertise in data visualization tools and best practices
- Ability to identify and source relevant business data and ensure data quality
- Understanding of data strategy, governance, and scalable production model implementation
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions and actionable recommendations
