About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead advanced analytics projects across complex business areas
- Develop and implement innovative data models and algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to design consultative solutions that drive business strategy and customer insights
- Direct analysis of business challenges to inform data-driven decision making and identify improvement opportunities
- Present production-ready analytics solutions to gain stakeholder buy-in and support implementation

- Lead a strategic team optimizing inventory flow from suppliers into Walmart's supply chain
- Drive innovation through advanced analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance network efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 8 years' experience in data analytics or related field
- 6 years' supervisory experience OR experience leading cross-functional teams
- Extensive leadership experience driving advanced analytics initiatives within complex business environments
- Proven expertise in data-driven decision making, predictive analytics, and development of innovative data models
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align analytics solutions with business priorities
- Ability to consult with senior executives and translate customer insights into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in evaluating and implementing emerging analytics tools and automation technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to coaching and developing talent
