About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage AOP/LRP planning for Energy Infrastructure and Operational teams
- Analyze costs, forecasts, and operational processes to optimize strategic business workstreams
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, innovation, and sustainability within energy operations
- Foster integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance across teams and partnerships
- Build and develop high-performing teams through talent management, coaching, and succession planning
- Cultivate internal and external relationships to support business goals
- Communicate to influence, motivate, and align stakeholders with business priorities
- Oversee teams managing energy market positions in deregulated markets and bill pay operations
- Provide strategic leadership aligning business objectives with operational excellence
- Manage resources and support innovation, resilience, financial management, and customer-focused value delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business, finance, or related area and 6 years’ experience in utility operations or related area
- 8 years’ experience in utility operations or related area
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
- Expertise in developing and executing business strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Strong operational management skills focused on continuous improvement and process optimization
- Exceptional communication abilities for engaging and influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and compliance in leadership roles
- Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and incorporating cost data into actionable business plans
- Ability to lead talent development initiatives, including coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Ability to foster collaborative partnerships and drive results through stakeholder engagement
