About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and prioritize member experience opportunities using member feedback, behavioral and operational data, business priorities, and Walmart+ benefits knowledge
  • Translate insights into recommendations covering member problems, opportunity size, root causes, solutions, tradeoffs, and expected impact
  • Diagnose end-to-end customer experience problems across UX, process design, product, operations, systems, and capabilities
  • Develop data-backed hypotheses about unmet member needs and highest-impact changes
  • Build data-driven business cases for priorities, solutions, and investment decisions
  • Influence product, operations, business, analytics, and partner teams without direct ownership of roadmaps or resources
  • Partner through solution development and implementation while keeping the original member problem central
  • Define success measures connecting operational improvements to member experience, behavior, engagement, and loyalty
  • Synthesize complex information and communicate insights, decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area, OR 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product management, customer experience, or a related field
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to diagnose complex customer or operational problems and develop recommendations
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a large, matrixed organization
  • Experience partnering with analytics, data science, product, and/or operations teams
  • Strong executive communication skills, including written narratives, presentations, and data-driven recommendations
  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Supervisory experience
