About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead construction project execution and delivery on schedule, within scope, and on budget
  • Direct contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, regulatory requirements, building codes, and company standards
  • Conduct routine construction compliance reviews and drive corrective actions
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineering, Global Tech, Operations, internal teams, consultants, and leadership
  • Drive process improvements and document best practices
  • Support knowledge sharing
  • Provide leadership to build a high-performing construction team
  • Oversee vendor performance, contract negotiations, project documentation, risk management, and quality control

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and 3 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area OR 5 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area
  • Extensive experience in construction management, including project execution and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Proven leadership skills directing contractors, architects, and engineering teams
  • Expertise in contract management, budgeting, and financial oversight
  • Proficiency in risk management and quality control
  • Knowledge of building codes and company standards
  • Communication and team management capabilities
  • Ability in project planning, scheduling, and continuous process improvement
  • Problem-solving skills and commitment to integrity and operational excellence
  • Preferred: experience in construction compliance and real estate management
  • Preferred: experience managing large-scale retail, industrial, or multi-site construction programs
  • Preferred: experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or equivalent
  • Preferred: experience with procurement and construction-services contract management
  • Preferred: experience with sustainability, energy efficiency, and green building standards
  • Preferred: professional certification such as OSHA10, OSHA30, PE, PMP, CCM, or LEED AP
