About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee maintenance operations across multiple facilities
- Ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Manage vendor selection, performance monitoring, and contract administration
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements and best practices
- Use data analysis and KPIs to support strategic decisions and improve maintenance effectiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and follow procurement protocols
- Guide teams through change initiatives and crisis management
- Support facility integrity, business continuity, and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and 4 years' experience in maintenance, operations, or related field; or 6 years' experience in maintenance, operations, or related field
- Proven leadership experience managing divisional maintenance and facility operations
- Strong business acumen
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and quality control
- Proficiency in data analysis and KPI tracking
- Technical knowledge of facility repair, maintenance, and reliability management
- Experience managing budgets, procurement, and expense control within maintenance operations
- Heavy equipment or related area experience preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional task forces or projects preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
