About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation for Walmart eCommerce business performance and strategic decision-making
  • Prepare financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting transparency and address financial variances
  • Develop and present complex financial models and business cases to senior management
  • Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and measuring performance
  • Translate financial and operational performance into recommendations, trade-offs, and decision options
  • Lead assigned workstreams, structure ambiguous problems, and drive cross-functional execution
  • Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while fostering a high-performing team environment
  • Partner with US eCommerce, segment, marketing, membership, and merchandising finance teams to support strategic growth and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience
  • Financial planning, analytics, modeling, and variance analysis expertise
  • Ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and develop financial models and business cases
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional workstreams and driving outcomes
  • Strong analytical rigor and learning agility
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, identify root causes, and build expertise in new businesses
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in program management
  • Preferred: Analyzing data and interpreting results, Microsoft Office, working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
  • Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration
