  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to leaders across Walmart
  • Provide financial insights that shape procurement strategies, improve cost efficiency, manage risk, and support long-term value creation
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and performance reporting
  • Partner across Finance, Procurement, and the business to execute strategic initiatives and continuously improve financial processes
  • Drive business strategy execution, evaluate operational outcomes, and foster continuous improvement
  • Prepare financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets
  • Manage control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure proper controls across functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting transparency and financial system accuracy
  • Communicate financial results, assumptions, and variances to senior management and support business case presentations
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop associates, establishing performance expectations and fostering a team-based environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while promoting continuous improvement and accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and management within complex business environments
  • Proven ability to develop and present detailed financial models and forecasts to senior leadership
  • Strong skills in risk mitigation through effective control structures and process improvements
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence business partners
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating financial insights and recommendations clearly
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Commitment to ethical standards, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
