About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, business cases, and performance insights for assigned international markets
  • Partner with local market Finance and business teams to evaluate growth opportunities, investment choices, seller and assortment strategies, fulfillment economics, and operating risks
  • Build common scorecards and decision frameworks enabling leadership to compare performance across markets while recognizing local differences
  • Identify trends, surface risks, and recommend actions to improve growth and profitability
  • Coordinate with Global Marketplace, International, Product, Technology, Supply Chain, and Strategy partners
  • Support executive reviews
  • Flex into cross-market or enterprise initiatives as priorities and business needs change
  • Connect market-specific needs with Global Marketplace strategy across assortment, seller growth, fulfillment, pricing, and monetization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
  • Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through process development and monitoring
  • Strong communication skills for presenting financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing associates
  • Expertise in driving business plans, removing obstacles, and adapting strategies to operational and customer needs
  • Commitment to ethical standards, compliance, integrity, and accountability
  • Preferred: Analyzing data and interpreting results
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office
  • Preferred: Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
  • Preferred: Masters: Business Administration
