About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide brand renovations and new development within Walmart's private brands portfolio
- Align marketing efforts with organizational goals using data-driven insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally for cohesive planning and effective implementation
- Work with Private Brand Management and Merchandising teams to evaluate private brand portfolios
- Identify customer and competitive whitespace
- Renovate existing and build new private brands to improve customers' Walmart experience
- Support implementation teams in bringing brands to life across customer touchpoints
- Influence cross-functional teams to build brands supporting corporate goals and measurable results
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to adjust strategy and identify opportunities
- Develop brand strategy and guide creative development from positioning to identity
- Partner with senior leaders and teams in Merchandising, Marketing, Insights, and Creative
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing or related field
- Experience in brand development
- Ability to communicate clearly and tailor communication to different audiences
- Leadership and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Adaptability to evolving market conditions and business priorities
- Curiosity and passion for the business, customers, trends, and competition
- Preferred: experience leading cross-functional projects
- Preferred: marketing or related field experience
- Preferred: supervisory experience
- Preferred: Master's in Business Administration
