About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead operational excellence initiatives by evaluating industry practices and recommending process improvements
- Manage vendor relationships, quality standards, performance monitoring, and contract compliance
- Oversee reliability management programs, product redesign, and quality assurance efforts
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze variances, and prepare expense reports
- Use data analytics to inform decisions, improve business processes, and present stakeholder insights
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across departments
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational goals and enhance team capabilities
- Lead initiatives supporting equipment reliability, vendor performance, regulatory compliance, maintenance strategies, and service delivery within Walmart's supply chain
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a Technical related field (e.g., Controls, Electrical) and 4 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field OR 8 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field
- Proven expertise in operational excellence and process/compliance improvement
- Strong vendor management skills, including supplier performance monitoring and contract administration
- Experience in budgeting, expense management, and financial variance analysis
- Advanced technical acumen in mechanical engineering technology and maintenance engineering
- Proficiency in project management
- Ability to apply data analytics for decision-making and operational improvements
- Skills in negotiation and risk mitigation
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering is preferred
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred
