About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategy, hardware development, and commercialization of innovative consumer home entertainment products
- Own the full product lifecycle from concept development and market assessment through launch and post-launch optimization
- Lead product development initiatives and manage communications with internal and external partners
- Oversee specification development, quality assurance, and issue resolution through root cause analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support sourcing, validate documentation, and ensure compliance with business strategies
- Conduct market research and benchmark trends to recommend product enhancements
- Manage multiple business plans and projects, removing obstacles and adjusting performance to achieve objectives
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Brand Strategy, Consumer Insights, engineering, and brand teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area
- Extensive experience in hardware product development and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from concept through delivery
- Strong skills in project management, strategic partnership development, and business strategy execution
- Expertise in root cause analysis, product issue resolution, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Analytical experience in benchmarking, data analysis, and performance tracking
- Preferred: application development experience emphasizing VBA and SQL
- Preferred: creative design software
- Preferred: financial modeling
- Preferred: leading and completing cross-functional projects
- Preferred: manufacturing, product development, or packaging experience
- Preferred: Microsoft Office
