About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategic initiatives within the People Team supporting Global Walmart Connect and Sam’s Club Connect
  • Drive execution of multiple business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, and removing obstacles
  • Lead and develop associates through mentoring, coaching, and performance management
  • Partner with senior leaders to define goals, assess risks, and communicate program requirements
  • Oversee program management process improvements through analysis, solution development, and strategic alignment
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to increase service capabilities and implement process enhancements
  • Oversee workforce planning and cyclical programs including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, engagement, and the Annual Operating Plan
  • Combine HR partnership, technology adoption, analytics, and change leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance
  • Preferred: Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or related financial process
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred: Project Management Certification
