Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of critical services
Drive technical decisions and provide architectural direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 10+ years’ experience and at least 2+ years in people management
Strong experience building and managing a high-performing team
Experience leading a team of 10–12 people and owning complete end-to-end delivery accountability
Stakeholder and program management
Extensive experience building Microservices, RESTful, and SOAP web services
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
2–3 years running cloud distributed systems in production
Experience creating scalable distributed middle-tier frameworks, preferably using event-driven architecture in Azure
Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
Large-scale end-to-end implementation experience
Knowledge of JUnit, Spock, Jest, Sonar, and code quality control platforms
Experience with CI/CD tools and environments including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
End-to-end ownership of at least one cloud-based project
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong hands-on development skills for prototyping technical solutions
Understanding and handling non-functional requirements
Engineering excellence in code quality, performance tuning, and operational excellence
Ability to adapt quickly and learn emerging technologies
Exceptional communication, negotiation, facilitation, consensus-building, influence, and persuasion skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Practitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area and 2 years’ supervisory experience
