About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead compliance and ethics initiatives by monitoring regulations, addressing inquiries, and updating policies with leadership input
- Conduct research and analysis on legislation and regulatory trends to assess business impact and develop strategic responses
- Manage data programs to track legislation, perform gap analyses, and forecast regulatory obligations nationally and globally
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and risk mitigation
- Oversee compliance training, mentoring, and performance management to build a high-performing, accountable team
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove barriers, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with company standards and values
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across compliance programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
- 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
- Extensive experience in governance, compliance strategy, and regulatory compliance management
- Proven ability to lead compliance risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex regulatory information clearly to stakeholders
- Expertise in analyzing legislation, forecasting regulatory trends, and advising senior leadership on compliance implications
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and upholding company policies and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects, drive continuous improvement, and adapt to evolving regulatory environments
