Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of scalable, secure software solutions with cross-functional teams
  • Own delivery of scoped features and models, including implementation, iteration, testing, and support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices
  • Strong experience delivering scoped features through collaborative engineering teams
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring
  • Skilled in code review, debugging, and defect management
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software
  • Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous learning, mentorship, and engineering excellence
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a relevant field and 1 year's experience
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
  • Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
