Lead delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams
Own delivery of features and components aligned with platform and system objectives
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code across multiple languages
Drive the full SDLC, including CI/CD and automated testing
Integrate AI and ML components to improve software intelligence and development innovation
Participate in solution design and evaluate technical trade-offs
Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management
Translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes
Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement through testing and observability
Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices and knowledge sharing
Develop secure, resilient, high-performance payment solutions for Walmart’s in-store and digital channels

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Extensive software development experience
Proficiency in languages such as NodeJS and Java
Strong expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices
Experience delivering scoped features and managing the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing
Experience with code review, debugging, and continuous development
Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools
Technical judgment in designing scalable and secure solutions
Effective collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams
