About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of scalable software solutions through feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support
  • Own scoped feature and model delivery, including implementation, iteration, testing, and support

  • Develop and maintain Walmart's Mobile platform (MyWalmart/AllSpark) supporting tools for Walmart associates worldwide

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Extensive software development experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++
  • Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices
  • Experience delivering scoped features and models through collaborative, iterative development and continuous integration
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools
  • Understanding of platform design, product strategy, and technical leadership in scalable, maintainable software solutions
  • Skills in DevOps, automated testing, monitoring, and program performance management
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Preferred: master's degree and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
