About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Finance roadmap and operations across SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems
- Work as an individual contributor in the SAP competency center
- Deliver SAP Finance solutions across GL, AR, AP, Assets, Project Systems, taxes, and related master data
- Gather business requirements, design solutions, build, configure, enhance, and test integrated finance solutions
- Execute integration, regression, and UAT testing, data loads, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
- Contribute to solution architecture and finance business-process design
- Introduce best practices, innovative solutions, automation, and GenAI capabilities in SAP deployments
- Provide recommendations for business problems and communicate tradeoffs
- Own end-to-end assigned activities across S/4HANA and ECC systems
- Design, build, and support integrations with external agencies, including tax authorities
- Prepare project documentation for requirements, development, testing, and implementation
- Engage stakeholders to identify complex business or user problems and translate pain points into technical requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet user and technical needs
- Conduct maintenance procedures and monitor application performance using metrics and tools
- Track milestones and timelines through program reporting, CI/CD tools, and logging systems
- Support reliable software delivery through monitoring, testing, and continuous integration
- Contribute to innovation strategies, knowledge sharing, platform enhancement, and continuous improvement
- Adapt to changing technologies, anticipate downstream effects, and communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.E./MBA/CA/ICWA/Tax professional with Finance specialization or another relevant qualification
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementation of GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and tax modules of FICO
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance implementation, application enhancement, production support, or projects
- Minimum experience of 4+ implementation projects
- Knowledge and hands-on experience across SAP Finance modules and DevOps methodology
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, CHARM, and ALM
- Effective business communication and stakeholder management skills
- S/4HANA hands-on experience is mandatory
- Required minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' software engineering experience, OR 5 years' software engineering experience
- Preferred master's degree and 1 year's experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices is valued
- Cisco certification listed as a preferred qualification
