About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of scalable, secure software solutions with cross-functional teams
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Own delivery of scoped features and models through implementation, iteration, testing, and support
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code
  • Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance test frameworks for 1P Sellers and 3P Suppliers
  • Develop reusable code for functionality, configuration, deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, availability, security, and alerting across test, integration, and production environments
  • Troubleshoot critical software defects
  • Provide testing effort for multiple medium- to large-scale projects
  • Plan test schedules and drive execution with junior testers and outside vendors
  • Communicate plans, issues, risks, and progress to teams and leadership
  • Improve testing processes and propose ideas to improve customer satisfaction and product quality
  • Mentor peers and support team growth and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Experience with Selenium Automation Framework
  • JUnit and TestNG Framework experience
  • Mobile Automation Framework experience
  • Experience creating Jenkins Jobs
  • Shell Scripting experience
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable technical requirements
  • Experience monitoring application performance and maintaining high-quality software
  • Programming experience with languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Spring, Node, React, or Angular
  • Experience integrating with scalable back-end services such as REST or GraphQL
  • Experience with functional, integration, and E2E testing tools and practices
  • Experience with code repositories and version control practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, best practices, and automated deployment
  • Expertise with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Immigration sponsorship support will not be available for this position
  • Master's degree and 1 year's experience is listed as a preferred qualification, not required
