Apply and/or develop machine learning solutions to create efficient and scalable models at Walmart scale
Develop intuitive software meeting customer and company needs

Professionally maintain code and create regular updates addressing customer and company concerns

Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.E./B. Tech/MS/MCA in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent qualifying experience
5.5+ years of object-oriented programming experience in Java
Excellent computer systems fundamentals, data structures/algorithms, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience building web-based J2EE services/applications
Experience with Kafka, Apache Camel, RESTful Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, Splunk, and caching
Experience in systems design and distributed systems
Exposure to SQL/NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra, Elastic, and Mongo
Large-scale distributed services experience, including scalability and fault tolerance
Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS
Exposure to build, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins
Continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize systems and tools
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a specified technical field and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
