About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and security standards
  • Develop and maintain system security plans
  • Conduct risk and compliance reviews
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and performance monitoring
  • Collaborate on disaster recovery planning and capacity management

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements
  • Support Information Security Operations, development, and forensic labs through secure networks and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company; OR 5 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure security, scalability design, and disaster recovery methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management and automation tools
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and cyber threat hunting techniques
  • Proficiency in storage management, including Storage Area Network (SAN) and Storage as a Service (STaaS)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable system designs
  • Scripting and coding skills for automation and infrastructure maintenance
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Capacity management and issue resolution experience within complex IT environments
  • Preferred: Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
  • Preferred: Master’s degree and 1 year’s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
  • Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
