About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions
- Develop detailed, modular, and extensible system designs from high-level architecture
- Automate infrastructure deployment and maintenance using scripting and configuration management tools
- Conduct risk and compliance reviews
- Perform infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and performance monitoring
- Collaborate on capacity planning and resource optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating as needed
- Support coding and automation efforts for continuous integration and delivery
- Contribute to workforce identity lifecycle management, including identity synchronization, automation, governance, and secure identity operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company; OR 5 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
- Extensive experience in infrastructure security, systems architecture, and scalability design for distributed systems
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Python
- Strong knowledge of configuration management, disaster recovery planning, and capacity management
- Expertise in identity and access management, incident response, and security risk and compliance frameworks
- Ability to develop modular, extensible designs
- Familiarity with coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and telemetry implementation
- Proven ability to evaluate trade-offs and resolve complex infrastructure issues independently
- Preferred: Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 1 year’s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
- Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
