Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities
Provide prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls
Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely

Requirements

What you’ll need

18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area; or 6 years' experience in one of these areas
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI within the last five years
Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
Ability to use intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software; one year of experience stated in the position summary
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to move up and down ladders frequently
Comfortable working at heights frequently
Preferred: experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Preferred: experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
