Design and develop intuitive software meeting customer and company needs
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews across teams
Collaborate with team members to develop software best practices and meet client requirements
Engage with Product Management and Business to set priorities and deliver products
Maintain code and best practices and create regular updates
Analyze and test programs/products before formal launch
Troubleshoot coding problems efficiently
Develop programs that monitor the sharing of private information
Improve software effectiveness
Code, unit test, and build high-performance, scalable applications for millions of Walmart customers
Leverage AI tools to continuously improve productivity
Work with Catalog Engineering platforms and services supporting third-party sellers and suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–7 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development with UI heavy development experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, React or Angular
Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred), Node.js, or Python
Experience building scalable, distributed systems
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and machine learning
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Ability to work from the Bangalore/Chennai office for daily work
