About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Spin up, configure, scale, and troubleshoot PaaS platforms in Azure and GCP
- Design and enforce global cloud-wide security guardrails and IAM/RBAC policies
- Manage secure vaulting with Key Vaults and Secret Manager
- Configure VNets, VPCs, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and firewalls
- Build, maintain, and optimize autonomous systems, platform bots, and automated workflows
- Auto-remediate alerts and orchestrate repetitive operational tasks
- Deploy PaaS resources and infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines, CLI tools, and Terraform IaC templates
- Support the cloud-native platforms, services, and frameworks powering Walmart’s global operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Infrastructure/Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and/or GCP managed cloud services
- Strong, proven ability to build, deploy, and manage cloud environments programmatically using Terraform and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record configuring complex cloud networks, including VNets/VPCs, subnets, and Private Endpoints
- Experience enforcing global subscription-level security using IAM and RBAC
- Basic solution architecture capabilities to design resilient cloud components
- Exceptional analytical skills for troubleshooting complex, large-scale production infrastructure issues
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell is a bonus
- Hands-on exposure to smart scripts, agentic workflows, or LLM-based systems such as RAG is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Role based in the Bangalore office for daily work
