About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced support for enterprise security services
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Maintain code and configurations using version control
- Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement security solutions
- Lead and participate in software development lifecycle activities
- Write, test, debug, and install software and scripts
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and reliability
- Identify problems and coordinate resolutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technical presentations and documentation
- Drive continuous improvements to security applications and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in information technology within the past 7 years; OR 5 years' experience in information technology or related field within the past 7 years; OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven expertise in software engineering with a focus on information security and intrusion detection and prevention
- Proficiency in Python programming and automation
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and continuous delivery practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead technical design, testing, and debugging of complex programs and scripts
- Familiarity with version control and change management processes
- Effective communication skills
- Preferred certifications include GCIAs, GCED, GISP, GCIH, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, and/or Security+
- Preferred knowledge of mainframe technology, programming languages, SAP, version control software, WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, SQL queries, and project or team leadership
