Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze customer behavior and business performance
Design and evaluate digital experiments and A/B tests
Develop predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations
Identify and validate data across multiple business domains
Lead complex analytical initiatives addressing ambiguous business problems
Perform exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis, and hypothesis testing
Build scalable analytical frameworks and automated solutions to monitor business performance
Partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Business teams
Communicate insights through visualizations and recommendations
Lead analytical strategy for high-impact initiatives
Establish rigorous analytical approaches and analytical best practices
Mentor data scientists
Influence product and business decisions to improve customer experience and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics related field; or Master's degree in one of these fields and 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in an analytics or related field
Proven expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and advanced statistical modeling techniques
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and complex datasets
Knowledge of A/B testing, statistical hypothesis testing, and experimental design
Strong analytical skills in exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis, and model validation
Experience developing scalable analytical frameworks, predictive models, and automated solutions
Ability to independently structure ambiguous business problems and deliver actionable recommendations
Strong business acumen and expertise in data visualization tools and best practices
Ability to communicate complex insights effectively and influence stakeholders
Strong understanding of data quality and governance standards
Ability to mentor data scientists and establish analytical best practices
Must work in the United States; primary location is Sunnyvale, California
