About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead strategy and execution for complex products from discovery through value realization
Build understanding of customer and business needs using data analysis, design thinking, and feedback mechanisms
Define and communicate multi-quarter product vision, strategy, and roadmaps
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Business partners to manage risk, dependencies, and priorities
Use data-driven decision-making and experimentation to validate assumptions and optimize product direction
Identify emerging technology opportunities and influence technical strategy without direct authority
Mentor product managers and elevate product discipline and launch readiness
Develop optimization and visibility solutions for transportation, including freight consolidation, dynamic routing, telematics, predictive insights, real-time alerts, and transportation AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management; or 9 years’ experience in product management or related area
Proven experience leading product strategy and managing roadmaps for complex or related products
Strong stakeholder management skills
Expertise in data-driven decision making, advanced analytics, and experimentation
Deep understanding of customer needs through design thinking, journey mapping, and operational data analysis
Ability to define product vision, KPIs, and trade-offs aligned with business outcomes
Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in product innovation
Demonstrated mentorship capabilities for developing less experienced product managers
Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy and no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
