  • Collaborate using Agile methodologies, API integration, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Support performance, scalability, and seamless search functionality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience contributing high-quality code to production systems at scale
  • Deep expertise building n-tier, highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java/Scala and RESTful architecture
  • Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT
  • Strong command of Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems design
  • Experience refactoring and redesigning existing applications
  • Proficiency in Mockito and JUnit
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, multithreading, networking, and performance tuning
  • Disciplined approach to code review, testing, and documentation
  • Proven experience designing optimization algorithms for Search platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred: Master’s degree and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
  • Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
