Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities for international commerce
  • Deliver infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities
  • Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable, resilient, and agile systems
  • Lead coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle
  • Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards

  • Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to translate complex problems into technical requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation
  • Proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping
  • Experience with coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability
  • Ability to apply data-driven decision making and define success metrics
  • Skills in DevOps engineering and tooling development
  • Experience with platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks
  • Experience building AI-driven applications using multiple programming languages
  • Effective collaboration, communication, stakeholder engagement, and engineering mentorship
  • Preferred: Master's degree and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
