  • Promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements
  • Optimize development processes using data-driven practices
  • Support Walmart’s OneSource team in delivering enterprise-grade sourcing and product development solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and agentic systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation
  • Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and software design patterns
  • Ability to lead technical design reviews and enforce architectural best practices
  • Data-driven decision making and problem solving
  • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
  • Must work in the United States; location is Sunnyvale, California
