About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver platform capabilities across infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks
- Align development efforts with roadmap milestones and domain priorities
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles including microservices, containers, and automation
- Drive the full software development lifecycle including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, observability, monitoring, and maintenance
- Lead infrastructure and tooling development to improve engineering productivity and developer experience
- Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility, quality, and architectural alignment
- Build AI-driven applications and intelligent automation features
- Integrate AI agents and ML components supporting multi-step reasoning and automation
- Apply design patterns and principles to build secure, maintainable, modular, and scalable solutions
- Engage product and business stakeholders to identify complex user problems and translate them into technical requirements
- Break down work into actionable units for engineering execution
- Define and track success metrics using data-driven engineering practices
- Contribute to API design and software prototyping
- Facilitate correction-of-error reviews to improve code quality and reduce recurring defects
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute to engineering thought leadership through documentation, tool evaluations, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area
- Experience developing scalable and secure web applications with ReactJS and other JavaScript libraries
- Experience designing and implementing REST API web services and integrating external APIs using JavaScript
- Experience writing type-safe code using TypeScript explicit type annotations
- Experience designing and executing end-to-end and integration tests using TestCafe
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests using Jest and Mocha
- Experience using component libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, and Rodeo
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Looper, or Heroku
- Experience with JavaScript asynchronous programming, authentication, logging, and error handling
- Experience gathering requirements and using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Jira
- Experience building accessible semantic HTML and ensuring cross-browser compatibility with HTML and CSS
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Oracle DB
- Experience developing highly available and scalable web applications with headless CMS solutions
