Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable, resilient, and agile systems
  • Lead system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural best practices
  • Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features
  • Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions
  • Promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across teams to define user problems and translate them into actionable technical requirements

  • Deliver platform capabilities aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Extensive experience in software development
  • Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++
  • Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices
  • Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through iterative development and continuous integration
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools
  • Capability in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
  • Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Commitment to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and technical ownership
  • Immigration sponsorship support is not available for this position
  • Preferred but optional: master's degree and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
