Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and delivery of large-scale software, ML infrastructure, and platform capabilities
Translate product and business strategy into scalable, resilient, maintainable architectures and long-term technical roadmaps
Own coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, and operational excellence
Drive system design reviews, architectural decisions, and root-cause analysis for complex production and reliability issues
Build cloud-native platforms, ML frameworks, model-serving capabilities, and AI-driven applications supporting automation and intelligent workflows
Mentor engineers, influence technical direction, raise engineering standards, and partner across product, data science, and engineering teams
Lead and direct large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions

What you’ll need

8+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong experience in AdTech, Search, relevance, or large-scale distributed systems
Expertise building highly available, fault-tolerant, cloud-native services using microservices, containers, APIs, and automation
Hands-on proficiency in Java or another object-oriented language, Spring, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark, and modern data platforms
Experience partnering with Data Science teams to productionize and serve ML models in real time
Exceptional analytical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated architecture leadership, mentorship, communication, collaboration, and commitment to engineering excellence
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
