About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions
- Design scalable, modular software architectures meeting security, availability, and performance standards
- Develop, review, and maintain secure, high-quality code using Python and other relevant technologies
- Implement automation scripts supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve defects and enhance system security
- Monitor program metrics and ensure adherence to project milestones and compliance standards
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business objectives
- Support AI security initiatives, implementation reviews, technical direction, automation, and cyber engineering efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company; OR
- 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
- Proficiency in Python programming and software coding standards
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Experience with continuous integration and automation tools
- Expertise in stakeholder management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Ability to analyze requirements, conduct risk assessments, and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Skilled in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis
