About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions
  • Design scalable, modular software architectures meeting security, availability, and performance standards
  • Develop, review, and maintain high-quality Python and other software code
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve defects and improve security and functionality
  • Monitor program metrics and report progress against project milestones and business objectives
  • Contribute to AI security and safety initiatives, implementation reviews, technical direction, automation, and cyber engineering
  • Support program monitoring, compliance, system resilience, and infrastructure performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and software coding standards
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Expertise in software architecture, scalability, and modular, extensible solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Familiarity with telemetry, testing methodologies, and automation tools
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships through communication, analysis, and engagement
  • Preferred: Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
  • Preferred: Master’s degree and 2 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
  • Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
