Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions aligned with business objectives
Analyze and scope functional and non-functional requirements
Design scalable, modular software architectures incorporating disaster recovery and cloud-native principles
Develop detailed designs and convert high-level concepts into functional modules with clear logic and mockups
Lead coding efforts across platforms and frameworks while ensuring coding standards, security, and maintainability
Drive automated testing strategy and execution for functionality, performance, and security
Monitor program metrics and manage continuous integration and deployment processes
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and improve product quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide engineering best practices
Mentor and influence engineers across the organization
Build scalable web applications and advance extended reality retail solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in software development, specializing in frontend websites and shareable widgets
Experience integrating REST and GraphQL backend services
Experience with large code bases and driving large projects
Experience mentoring and influencing engineers across the organization
Strong oral and written communication skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with Gen AI tools to design, build, and release software
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, React Router, Redux, Node.js, and GraphQL
API integration and development expertise
Complex software and distributed system design
Design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
Debugging and production support
Azure and Google Cloud Platform
CI/CD and code management tools
SDLC and Secure SDL frameworks
Telemetry
Risk/cost analysis, functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, coding standards, and quality/safety/security standards
Proven delivery of large-scale software products in fast-paced environments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
