Key responsibilities & impact

  • Convert high-level designs into detailed technical components, ensuring scalability and disaster recovery

  • Perform infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and system performance monitoring
  • Collaborate on requirement analysis, risk assessment, and user stories for agile development cycles
  • Implement configuration and release management processes for virtual machines and cloud-based services
  • Maintain documentation of system changes, issues, and development activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop detailed designs, contribute to capacity planning, and resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement in infrastructure performance while adhering to security frameworks and coding best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area, or 3 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure design, including software architecture, distributed systems, and scalability principles
  • Strong knowledge of security controls, frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to information and infrastructure security
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python
  • Familiarity with configuration and release management processes in cloud and virtualized environments
  • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements to support solution design and capacity planning
  • Proficiency in coding standards, secure development practices, and code management tools
  • Effective issue resolution skills
  • Commitment to maintaining system performance and security
