About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop scalable, secure infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and security standards
- Automate infrastructure deployment and maintenance using scripting and configuration management tools
- Conduct risk and compliance assessments supporting system security plans and disaster recovery strategies
- Perform infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and performance monitoring
- Collaborate on requirement analysis, user story creation, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderate-complexity issues, escalating when necessary
- Maintain documentation of system designs, configurations, and code revisions
- Modernize and maintain PKI, HSM, and certificate lifecycle management across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, networking, and application teams
- Mentor peers and drive improvements in infrastructure security and automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area; OR 4 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area
- Proven expertise in Public Key Infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules, and Enterprise Java Bean Certificate Authority (EJBCA) management
- Strong knowledge of encryption technologies, security controls, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
- Ability to design scalable, modular, and secure distributed systems
- Familiarity with infrastructure maintenance, disaster recovery planning, and capacity management
- Skilled in coding standards, secure software development lifecycle, and configuration management processes
- CISSP or equivalent security certification preferred
- Must work at a specified Walmart location in Bentonville, Arkansas or Herndon, Virginia
