About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and execution of global tax planning strategies
- Ensure compliance with international and domestic tax regulations
- Analyze complex tax concepts to optimize financial outcomes and support business strategy
- Conduct tax research and analysis to address complex issues and mitigate risk
- Collaborate cross-functionally on internal restructurings and corporate transactions
- Develop and maintain tax documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
- Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders on tax planning strategies
- Partner with team members to identify opportunities, contribute to team objectives, and support decision-making
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to support compliance and strategic decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in income tax planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field and 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or a related area OR 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or a related area
- Strong knowledge of international tax principles
- Tax planning and research capabilities
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Proven ability to conduct tax research and prepare clear, well-supported technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and business teams
- MBA, Master’s in Accountancy or Tax, or a JD with a Tax LLM listed in the role qualifications
- Preferred: leading cross-functional projects, license to practice law in at least one state, supervisory experience, J.D., master’s degrees, and CPA certification
