About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct grounds maintenance in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas
- Mow, trim, and prune landscaping to maintain exterior grounds year-round
- Work alongside associates to manage landscaping and exterior maintenance
- Oversee landscape projects and evaluate landscaping needs
- Implement sustainable landscaping upgrades
- Maintain cleanliness standards for exterior areas
- Follow safety, security, integrity, corporate policy, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum age of 21 years
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification pre-hire
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI/OUI convictions or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
- No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
- Ability to read and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
- Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area
- Preferred: Experience in third-party management
- Preferred: Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate office software functionality
- Preferred: Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish
- Preferred: State/local licensing where required
