About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create, edit and publish internal communication content, including news articles, announcements, employee stories and leadership communications
Recommend improvements to communication channels and processes to increase employee engagement
Support communication for internal projects, strategic global initiatives and organizational changes
Measure communication effectiveness through reporting and feedback
Support day-to-day management and development of the Walter intranet
Act as a key contact for intranet-related topics across Walter and the Sandvik Group
Coordinate and support the global Walter intranet editor network through guidance, training and best practices
Drive governance, consistency and content standards across the intranet
Monitor content performance and engagement analysis and recommend improvements
Coordinate communication activities across concurrent projects
Develop and coordinate communication plans across functions, divisions and regions
Support planning, scheduling and publishing to deliver communications on time
Align content preparation and timing across the Walter Marketing and Communication team and relevant Sandvik divisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in internal communications, corporate communications, digital communications or a related field
Strong content creation, editing and proofreading skills
Experience managing or supporting intranet platforms and digital communication channels
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to build relationships across a global organization
Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and digital communication platforms
Interest in leveraging new technologies and AI-enabled tools
