About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and sourcing of frames, packaging, and accessories with designers
  • Manage multiple factory relationships across the end-to-end product lifecycle
  • Partner with designers on seasonal, chase, and long-term innovation development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand quality, price, and design needs
  • Create and implement development calendars and maintain partner adherence to timelines
  • Assess vendor base and spending, including forecasting, capacity planning, sampling, and manufacturing lead times
  • Oversee purchasing of frames, accessories, and packaging
  • Measure product delivery and quality performance
  • Negotiate costs and evaluate product, vendor, and volume cost trade-offs
  • Manage onboarding processes for new frame vendors and facilitate the Vendor Compliance Manual
  • Define and report KPIs for vendor scorecards, internal performance measures, and department goals
  • Report to the Director of Product Development within the Product Strategy team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaborative skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong judgment and ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Successful project management experience managing overlapping timelines and complex dependencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, and Adobe applications
  • Experience working with international vendors
  • Knowledge of cultural, regulatory, commercial, operational, and logistical implications of managing international vendor operations
  • Understanding of vendor cost structures and ability to negotiate with overseas providers
  • Eyewear or jewelry product development and sourcing experience (extra credit)
  • Previous exposure to Oracle Fusion ERP (extra credit)
