About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, develop, and manage current and prospective business relationships, sponsorships, and partnerships
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent client needs and goals within the organization
  • Support and lead on-site execution of select client events, including B2B customer hosting programs
  • Support Strategy, Insights, and Measurement work and direct portfolio strategy projects
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate insights and recommendations
  • Lead performance tracking, measurement, and reporting for client partnerships across sports and entertainment
  • Contribute to recap reports for priority activation and year-end partnership verticals
  • Serve as an in-team expert on Wasserman valuation methodologies, tools, and implementation
  • Assist the Senior Director with management, training, and professional development of junior team members
  • Oversee interagency relationships and manage outside agencies and partners for client programs
  • Lead teams through condensed timelines, multiple deliverables, stakeholders, and time zones
  • Manage communication among clients, internal teams, external partners, and vendors
  • Identify opportunities to present new capabilities to clients
  • Support or help lead new client pitches and respond to RFPs
  • Pursue business development and new revenue opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years relevant experience with minimum 4 years of direct experience in account and project management
  • Experience preferably in the sports or entertainment field; college sports a plus
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site at multiple events per year, including some international travel
  • Experience managing B2B customer hosting programming with direct responsibility for guest experience and on-site engagement
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous experience managing a team and balancing multiple external clients and stakeholders
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to various situations and personalities and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction and delegate tasks with accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valuation experience and familiarity with contractual language in traditional sponsorship arrangements and non-traditional business-to-business partnerships
