About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end delivery of large and enterprise implementations, often multi-site or multi-specialty, from contract signature through go-live and transition to Support
- Plan scope, timeline and resources, and actively manage risks, dependencies and escalations
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client project teams and their IT staff
- Lead discovery sessions to document scheduling, registration and eligibility verification workflows
- Map current-state processes to the Clearwave platform and design future-state solutions
- Define, document and secure client sign-off on business and technical requirements
- Build and review complex configurations, SQL, data mappings and integration logic
- Partner with client IT teams, PM System and EHR vendors on interfaces and data exchange
- Own testing strategy, including test plans, UAT and data validation, and lead go-live readiness
- Act as escalation point for difficult technical issues during implementation and hypercare
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders from front-desk leads to executives
- Communicate status, risks and trade-offs to clients, Clearwave leadership and Customer Success
- Own client satisfaction through implementation and handoff of a stable, well-documented client to Support and Customer Success
- Mentor and train Implementation Engineers through configuration reviews, pairing and onboarding
- Lead team initiatives and improve implementation methodology, tooling, templates and playbooks
- Bring field insight to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap and reduce future implementation effort
- Maintain reusable project deliverables and documentation
- Contribute to company initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in a technical implementation, solutions engineering or integration role delivering enterprise software
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong working knowledge of XML, JSON and HTML
- Hands-on experience with APIs and data integrations
- Established proficiency with Git or another source control tool
- Track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder implementations for large customers to an on-time go-live
- Ability to turn ambiguous business workflows into clear requirements and a working technical design
- Exceptional communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
- Experience mentoring, training or coaching teammates
- Strong ownership, sound judgment and composure under pressure
- Preferred: Healthcare technology experience, especially with PM Systems, EHRs or patient access workflows such as scheduling, registration and eligibility
- Preferred: Experience with HL7, FHIR or X12 270/271 eligibility transactions
- Preferred: Working knowledge of HIPAA and secure handling of protected health information
- Preferred: Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript or a similar language
- Preferred: Project management training or certification such as PMP or Scrum
- PCT, MT, CST time zones preferred
