About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete repairs and maintenance at assigned stores and identify further recommended actions
Perform carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, drywall, tiling, light bulb, countertop, cabinet, installation, replacement, and maintenance tasks
Complete repairs within priority-code timeframes across approximately 10 to 15 primary assigned stores
Perform fuel pump nozzle and hose replacements when applicable in Florida
Visit assigned stores on a scheduled basis to keep equipment clean and operational
Perform monthly beverage-equipment and semiannual HVAC and refrigeration preventive maintenance
Plan efficient and cost-effective daily routes
Prepare and coordinate stores for remodels, openings, and project work
Support Public Relations during opening celebrations
Maintain asset tagging integrity, including audits, transfers, and setup in new or remodeled stores
Maintain and promptly report paperwork and electronic communications, including invoicing and payroll documents
Notify the Lead Technician about unmet company standards from internal or external service providers
Perform other duties requested by the Lead Technician based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED, preferred
3+ years of experience as a General Craftsman
Valid driver's license required
Must maintain valid car insurance
Must reside in Orange County, Seminole County or Volusia County
Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 72 lbs
Ability to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 40 lbs
Ability to climb and perform functions on a ladder at approximately 30 feet
Ability to perform repetitive physical actions for long periods
Extensive travel 5 days per week, including evening and weekend hours
Ability to successfully complete the Technician 20 skills test
Obtain training certifications as required
